Cpanel Email for Mambo is an ongoing Open Source Project to develop a WebMail System for Mambo based on the Exim MTA used by CPanel. The project uses the IMAP and POP3 protocols to retrieve and send email. Registration of email addresses are however linked directly with CPanel by simple automated queries to the CPanel Email Registration Script. The Mambo Integration allows a mambo website to have their own email registration and webmail system. Actually CPanel Email for Mambo allows the administrator to set up any Webmail System for a user to log into and view their email.
